Joe McCunney
Founder
Joe McCunney has been responsible for software deliveries to millions of users across the globe in over 120 countries/regions and in over 30 languages.

For over 20 years his roles have been focused on helping technology businesses grow internationally. From his roles as an architect to product manager at Endeca Technologies, Oracle Japan, Workday, to Veeva Systems, he has acted as liaison and bridge of communication between the customer side and regional as well as headquarters side of the software vendor. As a board advisor to startups, he has helped C-level executives break into global markets and development managers and engineers understand the technology gaps needed to succeed in the global marketplace.
Some of Joe’s technical & strategic accomplishments include Natural Language Processing innovations, language detection, Global UI/UX philosophy and redesign, multi-lingual ETL, multi-lingual search, MI/AI for non-English languages, data automation, master data management, data cleansing solutions for non-English languages, and data entry automation.
He has always had a passion for both business and technology and enjoys being a hybrid living between the technical world and the customer-facing sides. Spending much of his career overseas as well as in the tech hub of the San Francisco Bay Area, he has seen the struggles of small and large technology companies when attempting to grow globally. Joe’s goal and one of DeepKey Data’s core philosophies is to partner with technology companies to help bring their amazing products into the global marketplace. Joe was born in South Korea, raised in Japan, and is a native Japanese and English speaker. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and is married with two children.
Don McCauley served as COO of Oracle Corporation Japan from 2011 to 2018. He oversaw the company’s operations, including Oracle’s transformation from a leading on-premise, license vendor into the world’s fastest growing Cloud company. Don was a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee and led the Global Strategic Accounts program. Oracle Japan is publicly traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and grew from a market capitalization of $2.7B to $11.1B during Don’s tenure.

Don joined Oracle after spending 25 years at NCR Corporation. He was the CFO of NCR Japan from 2005 to 2010 - NCR had been in Japan since 1906 and was the first foreign company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Don spent the majority of his time at NCR within the Teradata Division reporting to Mark Hurd. Roles included Sales Operations, Mergers & Acquisitions, CFO for Application Development, and vice president of Global Services.

Since leaving Oracle, Don has spent his time consulting with companies working to make the transformation from traditional Enterprise Technology into the Cloud – both from the supply and consumption perspectives. A native of Chicago, Don holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Wright State University. Don is married with four children.

Seth Borus
Board Advisor
Seth Borus joins DeepKey Data as Board Advisor for North American Sales Strategy. He will advise and lead DeepKey Data’s sales organization for the entire North American region.

With over 20 years of sales experience, he has helped grow numerous startup organizations, including experience with a successful exit through acquisition as well as driving over 50% of revenues for a startup where he closed over $23 M USD in business during his tenure. As a sales executive, he has promoted and cultivated long-lasting customer relationships which have allowed him to build a global network of very close customer relationships.
As a performance-driven, "Global Sales" professional, Seth approaches every professional engagement with inspiring leadership, innovative strategies, and an overarching commitment to excellence. As a leader he has mentored and coached numerous individuals to help grow their customer service skills and business acumen.

During his downtime, he enjoys Japanese Whiskey and omakase sushi and spending time with his family. Seth resides in the East coast with his wife and two children.
